Orphaned Relatives

Following family members can also be sponsored: 

• siblings including half and step siblings
• nephews and nieces
• grandchildren

if they are

• orphaned
• not in a relationship
• under the age of 18

the sponsorship of orphaned family members who are under the age of 18 follow the same procedures as those for the adopted children under the age of 18, provided they are not married or in a relationship.
